These probationary members will join the established members of S-Troupe on Monday, May 14 at 6:40am in C-8 for their first meeting. (New members must initial the call-sheet outside of C-8 within 24 hours. New members are not yet under contract and are subject to change.)

After five days of auditions, results for Year Eight’s S-Troupe try-outs are set to be announced on S-Troupe.com later tonight.

“This round of auditions was one of the most competitive I’ve ever seen,” said Travis Lytle, S-Troupe’s Executive Producer. “Our decisions were difficult, but I’m excited to start work on Year Eight.”

Are you a writer and performer who could be described as seriously entertaining, seriously comedic, or seriously original? If the answer is yes, then audition for S-Troupe’s Year Eight cast! Auditions will take place between 2:30 and 4:30pm on April 30, May 1, 2, and 3, 2012 at Cibola High School’s C-8.

Those auditioning must present a one to two-minute original monologue, with an interview to follow. Sign-ups for audition slots will begin April 23 in C-8.

Saturday, March 10 marks your last chance to catch S-Troupe’s seventh cast on the Joan Kent Theatre stage. See the 24 members of Year Seven in “Something Something Punchline,” S-Troupe’s 22nd show and final peformance of its seventh year. The curtain parts at 7:30pm, doors open at 6:45, and the box office opens at 6:35. Be there!

On January 21, S-Troupe will present its 21st show in its seven-year history, “S-Troupe: Significant Source of…” Saturday’s performance, the second of the Troupe’s Year Seven cast, will start at 7:30pm in the Jona Kent Theatre on the campus of Albuquerque’s Cibola High School.

S-Troupers Named King, Queen, and Princess

S-Troupe Year Seven members, Ruy Vasquez, Bailey Lindsey, and Katie Kilbane were elected and crowned Cibola High School’s Homecoming King, Queen, and Second Princess, respectively, at today’s Homecoming Coronation. Vasquez is the first Homecoming King from the ranks of S-Troupe, while Lindsey joins her sister, McKay Lindsey (2010/11), and alumnus, Courtney Schwartz (2008/09), in the third time a Troupe member has been Queen.

S-Troupe’s very own Katie Kilbane, Bailey Lindsey, Paul Thompson, and Ruy Vasquez have been voted to Cibola High School’s 2011/2012 Homecoming Court. The Troupers will represent the school and the Troupe during next week’s homecoming festivities. Congratulations to these exemplary students!

The title, chosen unanimously by the Troupe, will grace S-Troupe’s October 15th performance, the first production of its seventh year.
